STRA NEWSLETTER – JULY 12, 2010
We are making
plans now for the finals and the year end awards. We are making
a change in the year end saddle awards. To balance out the roper classes
we will give
a saddle to the high point roper in the combined 1 through 3 classes and to the
high point
roper in the combined 4 and up classes. I have checked with some of the
members and they
all felt this would make things more even. We will still have awards for
each roper class.
The finals
this year will be Friday October 1 through Sunday October 3. We will be
on an enter up at the roping again this year. On Sunday we will have a #9
Ned Ward Roping.
This will be a saddle roping.
Some have suggested a pick and draw format. Give me a call if you have a
preference.
